Madoka the lucky charm

The Madoka

This knife is the result of a collaboration with an army regiment , the 3ᵉ RHC (Regiment d'Hélicoptère de Combat). Which belongs to the Light Aviation of the Air Force (ALAT).

The idea is to have a very compact fixed knife (less than 15 cm), stocky, ergonomic, and very resistant . This knife comes in support of the much larger knife in their endowment, for more frequent and daily use .

The choice fell on a classic blade profile to be used for all stains, a solid tip , very worked ergonomics and leaving room for the hand. Which was the biggest challenge given the small size of the knife.

The pads are in toxified black G10 to be compact and offer perfect grip in any situation .

It comes with a folded black kydex sheath , mounted with a soft loop. It is compatible with ulticlip, teak lock and molle lock bindings to be able to adapt it wherever you want .

For the name, this regiment is attached to the image of the tiger and the gazelle. We started with the idea of ​​the gazelle. Indeed, the genus madoqua (renamed Madoka for Opus) includes very small antelopes, in particular the dik-dik . These are among the smallest antelopes of their kind and meeting them seems to bring luck !

This is a CUSTOM knife made by me in my workshop (FRANCE). It is therefore numbered with a certificate of authenticity. The steel is N690Co treated at 59-60 HRC under plate by me with a cryo at -20°.
