Centaur made to run the woods

The Centaur
Le Centaure was born from the meeting of two enthusiasts . Charles de BUYER, the Opus cutler and Philippe THON, traditional bow maker at L'Atelier d'Arcs.
The idea of this knife is to offer a very solid, versatile, sleek knife that can be used by archers and bow hunters in particular .
Philippe's specifications are as follows:
“Have a solid to pull the tips out of the shafts when the archer is clumsy. For this, a thick tip is required. The part before the notch is without counter edge to keep the most thickness and thus leverage on the point and in the shaft.
The design of the handle allows the strike with the hand on the pommel to penetrate the point. It needed a wide and solid blade with a big cutting power . The knife to be used for the development of a shooting station”.
The handle is made of generously thick G10 for maximum comfort . It is mounted screwed in 3 points and therefore removable if necessary.
The name comes from the constellation of Centaur , half-horse half-archer, a perfect surname for this collaboration !
Bushcraft and hunting enthusiasts will immediately have seen the Centaur's many qualities for outdoor activities.
It is a knife with a simple design, combining modernity, elegance and robust materials .
It comes with a compact black kydex sheath and mounted with a Blade tech (USA) teak lock.
The Centaur is made to serve and he is waiting for his new companion !

Frantz G. (verified customer) –
Magnificent knife.
Very balanced, the impression of invincibility is present right out of the case. Its shape makes it suitable for many functions in the woods (mixing, skinning, use of firesteel, etc.) A multitool in itself.
In addition, the certificate of authenticity and the number engraved on the blade make it even more unique. Small proposal: equip the case with a housing for firesteel or add holes on the case to be able to complete the equipment carried.
Thank you again for this beautiful knife!
